Registration is open to anyone 18 years or older capable of safely completing a triathlon of equal or longer distance as the Ocean Lava Lanzarote Olympic Distance Triathlon in the allotted time.

The Ocean Lava Win4Youth Lanzarote Triathlon wants to show that it is possible to put on an incredible sustainable event in beautiful locations without damaging the environment in the process.

Price reduction

Dear friends of the Ocean Lava Triathlon, we hope you are well and in good health.

Due to the Coronavirus crisis we have decided not to increase the "Early Bird" prices and will keep them until the registration deadline of October 19, 2020.

We hope to see you soon in good health at the Ocean Lava Triathlon on October 24th.

Important

If you do not have a FECANTRI (Canarian) or FETRI (Spanish) triathlon license, you have to buy a "one day" Spanish license during the registration process for 10 €.

Swim course regulations

There will be separate starts for men and women.
You are not allowed to swim with a bare torso.
Wetsuits are forbidden when the water temperature is above 22ºc. (the official water temperature is measured 1 hour before race start).
Athletes aged 50+ are allowed to participate with a wetsuit whatever the water temperature is.
Race number and compression calfs are allowed only when wearing a wetsuit.

Bike course regulations

Drafting is allowed.
Aerobars are not allowed.
Athletes must wear the race number visible on their bike and helmet.

Run course regulations

The laps will be controlled and supervised by timing mats, chips and judges.
Runners must wear the race number in the front of their race shirt and it must be clearly visible at all times.
You are not allowed to run with a bare torso.
You are not allowed to be accompanied by anybody (friends, team members, managers or other pacemakers) on the course.
Prohibited: Headphones – mobile phones – video cameras – go pro or other electronic listening communication device.
It is the athlete's responsibility to know the run course.

Age group champions men & women

Champion of the year medal for age group winners.
Age groups are divided by year (18, 19, 20...). You will race in the age group that corresponds to your age on race day.

Finishers men & women

Each finisher will receive a Finisher T-Shirt and a Finisher Medal

Awards not collected by 31/12 will be forfeited
